During our week in Colonia del Sacramento, we were delighted by its cozy cafes and restaurants. Ep.139 Uruguay is a quick ferry ride from Buenos Aires and doesn’t require a visa to visit. More importantly, because it’s one of the safest countries in South America, is a popular retirement spot due to its healthcare, and has a high quality of living, we decided to spend two weeks split between Colonia del Sacramento and Montevideo to check it out.
